My question is about reviewers of my batches

I'm extremely new at this and getting a better feel for what I'm doing. My question is do reviewers notify me of mistakes I made in the earliest batches so I can learn from my mistakes?

Hello Donna and thank you for your concern and care about the work! Reviewers do not notify you of your mistakes. Once a person has submitted 1000 entries, they are able to review. In essence, reviewers are just like you with a little more experience. If a reviewer changes a significant amount of entries (20% or more), then the batch goes on to a second reviewer, depending on what happens there it could go to a third reviewer and eventually end up in the hands of a team at FamilySearch for a 4th review!

If you want some help on your first batches, the best thing to do is to share your batch with the Indexing Chat group and someone with more experience will be happy to look over your work. To learn how to share a batch, click on the third icon from the right and follow the instructions. The most important thing in indexing is to read all of the project instructions, including the what to remember section, the general guidelines, the examples, and the field helps for each individual field.
