Best browser for use with Family Tree?
I thought I would raise this question to see if there is any consensus among participants of this forum as to which browser is best to use when working in Family Tree.
I have alternated between Firefox and Chrome up till now, but (on recommendation) tried out Edge. I was having specific problems in adding "Following" labels to those on my list - making painfully slow progress in using either Firefox or Chrome. However, although still far from perfect, when using Edge I have found a distinctly better performance regarding the speed at which I am able to add successive labels, as I work through my long list.
It would be interesting to hear of other users' experiences of their working in different browsers, to see if there is a "best" browser to use to improve ones work rate (and any other considerations) when carrying out various tasks, or when simply viewing in Family Tree. (For example, there used to be a noticeable difference in the fonts between Firefox and Chrome, which I have not been so aware of in recent use.)

I have always used Firefox unless my arm is twisted into using Chrome. That has everything to do with my dislike of Chrome generally and Google's insistence that it knows better than you what you want to see. That being so, any marginal improvement in Chrome's rendering of FS over Firefox would need to be substantial... So my lack of use of Chrome means I can't really analyse the differences that I might see.
Other people's attitudes about Chrome will differ.

It's my impression that FamilySearch has done a pretty good job of making the program run very consistently on different browsers. But I'm pretty much technology challenged for the most part.
Firefox used to be my default browser (for everything), but became too bloated to run on some of my devices so I abandoned it. Until recently I've used Google Chrome with no performance issues, But I've developed some personal antipathy to a lot of things coming out of Cupertino (and, for different reasons, out of Redmond), so I've now switched to Brave (without considering Edge), which I've been very happy with. Specifically in the FamilySearch context, the only "degradation" in performance I've noticed is the fact that my FamilySearch login doesn't automatically carryover to Ancestry.com when I link it from FamilySearch.
I think for the most part, the choice of browsers for most people will depend on things other than the browsers' performance with FamilySearch in particular. Just my two bits.
