Why are my comments subject to double-spacing between paragraphs?

I haven't experienced this behaviour prior to Community being updated. The spacing looks fine after I have typed my piece, but somehow acquires double-spacing after I click on "Post Comment".

How do I avoid this? (Interestingly, I deliberately created a new paragraph here, but the problem did not arise!)
