I feel the focus on one on one helping and the concept of using helper resources with an advanced lesson plan for the personalized family history experience is a great step forward. This is a major change and we still have old school genealogists who want to persist with genealogy classes. The focus on the patron's interests is far more effective in terms of encouraging the beginner to actually do something in FS.

It takes discipline for the Consultant to learn to use the lesson planner and follow the structured approach. But it does payoff.
