"Family Name" of 'FamilySearch'. Feature: "Find", by "Name". Format of the 'Wording' for "Check Box"
FamilySearch
.
"Family Name" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
Feature: "Find", by "Name".
.
Format of the 'Wording' for "Check Box" for "Exact" Search appears WRONG.
.
.
The "Result" has the same Problem/Issue ...
.
.
The same Problem/Issue in the latest versions of the "Browsers" of:
(1) 'Google "Chrome"; and,
(2) 'Mozilla' "FireFox"; and,
(3) 'Microsoft' "Edge",
with "Windows 10".
.
And ...
.
By the way, this Problem/Issue has ONLY been a RECENT development/appearance.
.
Submitted, for your, information; attention; and, consideration.

I assume you mean the instances of where "Exact" is being shown vertically. In cases like this, I can never remember how the page appeared previously! However, assuming that, earlier, the word didn't appear against the fields at all, it would seem the developers have just found a way of "squeezing it in" so they didn't have to adjust the spacing between the different input fields on this page. (Or, in the second illustration, they didn't have to "redesign" the page to move the "results" part to the right.)

The more I think about it, previously, the there was NO "Wording", at all, near the "Check Box", just the "Check Box".
.
I have been 'hammering' the "Find" feature/facility/function of late, working on a little 'side' project in (BYU) "RelativeFinder".
.
When one initially accesses the "Find" feature/facility/function, there are NO "Check Boxes", next to ANY 'Fields', for an "Exact Search".
.
Those "Check Boxes", next to certain 'Fields', for an "Exact Search", ONLY appear AFTER, one "Moves" the "Slider" across, for "Show Exact Searching Fields", which is found/located at the 'Bottom' of the page/screen.
.
And, previously, when one did the aforementioned, ONLY the "Check Boxes" appeared, NO "Wording".
.
That was just fine; as, one initiated the "Show Exact Searching Fields"; so, one would EXPECT something like the "Check Boxes" appearing - all good.
.
Now ...
That said ...
.
The NOW current "Wording", of "Exact", in that "Vertical" format, is the RECENT "Change".
.
And, I would suggest, an 'In-Line' release/Update, by a Developer, WITHOUT, any, "Testing"; or, "Input", by any User/Patron "Focus" Group.
.
That "Vertical" format, of "Wording", of "Exact", for "Exact Searches", now (currently) takes-up/uses far TOO much 'real estate' on the page/screen.
.
BOTH, the initial Design; and, the subsequent (resultant) Implementation, of the "Vertical" format, of "Wording", of "Exact" is VERY "Poor" indeed.
.
I my humbly opinion ...
.
The, Designers; and, Developers, would have been 'better off', NOT adding ANY "Wording", of "Exact", just leaving it as it was (if they could NOT 'come-up' with something better) - it worked just fine, not really confusing for those that initiated the "Show Exact Searching Fields".
.
Just my thoughts.

'Thank You' for addressing/fixing the appearance of the Feature of "Find", by "Name" with regard to the Format of the 'Wording' for "Check Box" for "Exact" Search.
.
The appearance is NOW much better.
.

.
Again, 'Thank You'.
