Still Coming Across Issues Where Safari Cannot be Used
I came across another place where Safari doesn't work but other browsers like Firefox do. I was trying to add an existing record of a woman's biological child as a step child to the husband from that woman's second marriage.
In the Family Members area of the person details page for the 2nd husband, I go to the Add Child button for that marriage and click on it. This brings up a modal window (ick!) where I select to add a child by ID number. I enter the correct PID for the existing child record, and then click the "Next" button. Click, click, click… NOTHING happens. It just sits there ignoring the mouse clicks.
I try a couple of more times with no luck so I start up FireFox, go to that record and do the same thing. Works PERFECTLY the first time. Like the inability to change source data that you are SUPPOSED to be able to change, clicks on some MODAL WINDOW buttons keep being ignored when using Safari (this second problem was reported a long time ago). The common problem seems to be related to Modal Windows buttons.
