New Product -idea- : Super Surname Search!!
My idea alone could save millions of man hours and server time. Allow multiple surname[s] search of all trees with one click. Example, I have seven surnames - all related somehow, but relationships and first names are unknown. Just one click and the results show which trees match the surnames the best. There is a large online DNA testing site that only allows surnames of the tested people, without first names and their relationships, reseaching the DNA matches is like having to build their family trees from scratch, and that isn't a pleasant task if you have 5,000 matches.

Since there is only ONE tree in the FamilySearch FamilyTree, I assume that you really meant to say something like:
"…Just one click and the results show which trees segments of the FS FamilyTree match the surnames the best…"
In any event, you can currently do the following in the FamilySearch FamilyTree:
Although it seems to be limited to just 4 Alternate Surnames, is that the type of thing you were thinking of?
(Also note that FS does not have any current direct support for DNA data at all)
