How to get FamilySearch computer to bypass a spouse because FamilySearch is bypassing me?
I am related to a friend of mine I'll call her Judy via info from FamilySearch and it said I am Judy's 10th cousin via my dad's side of the family. The very same day I added my ex-husband who is living to the tree (I am very distantly related to him as well, 9th cousin once removed) and when I click how Judy's related to me it says Judy is "the 9th or 10th cousin of my ex-husband" (no longer mentions my relationship with Judy). Hmm...
Then, I added my current husband (I am also distantly related to him, 10th cousin once removed) and now when I click how she's related to me it says "she is my current husbands 9th cousin".
So I'm related to both my ex-husband and my current husband and Family Search is using their relationships with people over my own. I am wondering how to possibly toggle this off so I can re look at how Judy is related to me so I can print that out for her without having to delete my ex-husband and current husband (both living) from my tree.
Or should I have my current husband make a longin and do the full tree under his and under my personal login put everyone in except my two husbands (ex and current)? Any tips are appreciated? Thanks you!

You are not alone ...
.
We have come across that ourselves ...
[ And, the "Relationships" are COMTINUALLY "Changing" ... ]
.
Due to your VARIOUS "Inter" Relationships ...
.
You are ACTUALLY related to her in MORE than one way ...
.
In fact, a number of ways, depending on which Family "Line" you follow ...
.
With ALL the "Inter" Relationships, I believe that 'FamilySearch', after everything is said and done, simply follows the line of least resistance - the easiest way; and, ONLY presents that one.
.
Consider yourself lucky ...
You are "Cousins", that is all that is really needed ...
Why try to work out, it can be a very 'Complicated' situation ...
.
I do not think it will help ...
.
It may even give you ANOTHER even DIFFERENT answer ...
[ It has for us ... ever changing ... ]
.
But ...
.
Question:
.
Have you tried to discern the "Relationship" though another programme, other than "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
IF, NOT, then ...
.
Can I humbly suggest that a place where you should be able to 'See' your "Relationship" with, "Famous People"; and, many, "Others"; PLUS, you can ALSO "Print" the connections/links between you and them is through (BYU) "RelativeFinder" ...
.
(BYU) "RelativeFinder" digs (pun intended) a lot DEEPER in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', than 'FamilySearch' does.
.
(BYU) "RelativeFinder" is one of the "Third Party" Applications that "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
BYU = Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah, USA (ie. the Church University).
.
From the "Family History Technology Laboratory", of the "Computer Science" Department.
.
Here is direct link to "RelativeFibder"
https://www.relativefinder.org/#/main
.
.
"RelativeFinder" has MANY 'Bells and Whistles', that you might find useful.
.
Apart from "Famous People" and "Others" ...
.
(BYU) "RelativeFinder" has some interesting options ...
.
There is an option to see if there is a 'Connection' between yourself and a "Deceased" individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
.
There is an option to see if there is a 'Connection' between two (x2) "Deceased" individuals/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'
.
.
There is an option to see if there is a 'Connection' between ("Living" - Users/Patrons) Friends in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
.
I hope this helps; but, it hay not ...

Please forgive me if I have misunderstood you statement here, but whatever you do, do not, "have my current husband make a login and do the full tree under his and under my personal login put everyone in except my two husbands (ex and current)?" because we are all working in the same single tree and putting "everyone in" would create a huge number of duplicates.
What you could do, if you husband is not working in Family Tree under his name, is to have him enter just you, your parents if they are living, and any living grandparents then link them correctly to all deceased ancestors already existing in the common tree but not enter himself as your spouse or your ex-husband, just leave you with no spouses. Then if you check a relationship under your account (not your tree) and it goes through him, you can switch to his account (not his tree) and see if you are directly related.
Remember, only living people in Family Tree should have duplicates since only the person entering the living people can see them. All descended individuals should be present just once, with the same IDs, with no duplicates, in the common tree.

My wife suggested a very practical, more straightforward and efficient way to address your issue. Just create a duplicate of yourself under your parents without any spouses, no children, and with just your name. No other information. Then use that duplicate to check relationships. It will be right there whenever you need it..

Relationships are calculated to the “Root person ID” on the account.
So the husband’s would need to be connected to the duplicate person you create for yourself, not the ID that shows for you on your settings page

Ouch, of course. And it is not even the "Root Person ID" because you can change that, but rather the person who owns the account, the "myself" ID created when first opening a Family Search account. I tried after changing the root person and relationships were still calculated based on me. So Misty may not be able to get this to work the way she wants it to even through her husband's account.
On option for this without having duplicate accounts is to, assuming they are both living, not have her current and ex-husband linked to their parents for now under her account but have the living duplicates that are under the appropriate accounts for her husband and children linked to their parents.
