you are probably better off using a third party application like Roots Magic or Ancestral Quest - which are much more robust in their analysis and reporting capabilities - and can also download from FamilySearch.

    @Brian Marti

    .

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum ...

    .

I am just another User/Patron like yourself ...

    .

By "Private People" in our "My Contributions"; then, that is referring to the "Living" individuals/persons, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', that reside in OUR own (individual/personal) "Private Spaces", in our own 'FamilySearch' Account ...

    .

Short Answer:  'NO', unfortunately not at this point in time.

    .

Currently, that "List" of "Private People" in our "My Contributions" (and, elsewhere) being the "Living" individuals/persons, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', that reside in OUR own (individual/personal) "Private Spaces", in our own 'FamilySearch' Account, is "Static" (ie. "as is"), and, EXTREMELY limited to do anything with.

    .

Hopefully, 'FamilySearch' is working on enabling/implementing some "Options", to, "Sort"; or, "Filter", that list of "Private People" in our "My Contributions" being the "Living" individuals/persons, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', that reside in OUR own (individual/personal) "Private Spaces", in our own 'FamilySearch' Account.

    .

I know that this does not help; but, I hope this gives you some perspective.

    .

    Dennis

I have not tried doing so ...

    Question:

But, can one even "Download" the "Living" individuals/persons , in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', that reside in OUR own (individual/personal) "Private Spaces", in our own 'FamilySearch' Account ...

    FROM: "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch',

TO: any of the "Third Part" Applications "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?

Roots Magic does it (just tested it)

it would seem the program is accessing the records in the same way it does when you are really on line.

the fact that some records are in your private space and others not - - doesnt matter - because its the same user id and security access that is being used and has access to both record sets.

Thank you for your suggestions. Ended up copying and pasting to an Excel spreadsheet.
