I'm trying to understand these Moveable Feast Days, but I'm stumped again.

Looking for baptism date for twins, Christen and Anne, born to Jon Leums. This line has a feast day of "Fer 3 Pent". The line before is fer 2. Pent (30 May) and the line after is Trin. (5 June). So what is the date for their baptism? Thanks in advance.

"Fer 3 Pent" (feria tertia Pentecost, meaning third day/Tuesday Pentecost) is referring to the Third Day of Pentecost, which is no longer celebrated (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whit_Tuesday). Pentecost was Sunday, followed by "2. Pent." on Monday and "3. Pent." on Tuesday. So in 1757, "3. Pent." was 31 May 1757.

My favorite website for these feast days and named Sundays is here:

    https://dinslekt.no/helligdager.php

Just put in the year and all these days are listed for that year. They include all the discontinued days. They give full name in both Norwegian and Latin. Some of the names are also links that go to a glossary that explains more about the day.

Here is a section of this for 1757 that covers the days you asked about:

What a wonderful tool, Gordon! Thank you for sharing that with us! I love that it includes the discontinued holidays as well.
