I am aware that certain fields might allow this depending upon the record source and whenever you see the "Edit" option provided alongside of the data. But I have come across some census records in which the age has been incorrectly indexed vastly differing from what clearly appears on the document. To my knowledge it usually only the names and locations that allowing "editing" of the index data.

I also have a male relative with the given name of Vivian but was incorrectly enumerated as female. Hey, I can't blame the enumerator for that one. 😀

When you attach the source you could put a note in the Describe the Record or more visible to other researchers (most of whom don't seem to look at the sources) you could click the edit button for Sex and add the note in Reason This Information Is Correct.

Short Answer, to BOTH: 'No', not at this point in time.

    .

Here is a 'Work Around' ...

    .

Two (x2) things that you can do ...

    .

    Firstly ...

"Source" in "Source" 'Tab' for individual/person ...

    .

You simply, have to Add "Notes", to the "Source", to the particular problem/issue.

    .

You can add those "Notes" in, all the following of the "Source",

    (1) the "Source Title" ( needs to be a "Shortened" version ); and.

    (2) the "Describe the Record (Notes)" ( Extended version ); and,

    (3) the "Reason This Source Is Attached" ( Extended version )

    .

    Secondly ...

"Other Information", being "Events", being "Residence" ... for individual/person

    [ for that particular Census ... ]

    .

In the "Reason This Information Is Correct", you simply add the same Extended version of the "Note", that you added to the "Source", to the particular problem/issue.

    .

    Finally ...

That would ... "Cover ALL the Bases' ... so to speak

    .

    I hope this helps.
