I am certainly no expert when it comes to "Memories" in 'FamilySearch' ...
.
So ...
As such ...
.
I was curious ...
.
I went to MY "Gallery"; and, did some 'clicking' around ...
.
Finally, I 'clicked' on the 'Plus Sign' in the 'Green Circle' ...
.
.
And, the RESULT was THIS ...
.
.
I am not saying/implying that you did ...
.
But ...
That said ...
.
That "Option", is there, it certainly is possible ...
.
I am sure that this does not help, but, I hope this gives you something to consider.

any item in FS memories - will show who uploaded it.
and the only person who can upload to your gallery - is YOU.
(or anyone that you have shared your account with)
look at the item in question and see if you can determine when it was uploaded.

I can see it says that I contributed it but I assure you that I DID NOT UPLOAD these pictures. I am happy with what they chose but I did not put them there. The same thing happened to my friend and the pictures on her Gallery are of a friend that recently passed away and is not her family member. Someone else put them there. I'm not sure I like people going into my account and adding pictures. My daughter is my only family member that does genealogy and she can't get on my page.

Thanks for showing me this, but I am not tech savvy and I promise I did not put these pictures in my Gallery. I wouldn't know how to do it. Each picture has the record button so that I can record my memory or type it.

I dont know what to tell you . . . only someone who knows your password would have been able to do this . . .
so consider changing your password.

Are, You; or, Your Daughter (or, any other member of your Family or Friends) Members of the Church?

I am, thinking out aloud here ...

IF, the answer to that 'Question', is 'Yes'; THEN, in the past (eg. Last x12 Months) has any one (of them):
(1) acted as your "Helper"?; or,
(2) has a (Ward/Branch) "Temple and Family History, Consultant" helped you
.... [ where you are on their "(Consultant) Planner" ]?

IF, the answer to that later 'Question', is 'Yes'; THEN, that is ONE "Possibility".
.
In fact, at the moment, it is the ONLY "Possibility", that I can think of.

As an aside ...

Please be aware that ...
.
"Pictures" (eg. Photographs/Images; plus, 'Posts') on ANY "Social Media" websites, such as (in this case) "FaceBook", are NOT "Private", ANYONE can "Download" or "Copy" them - &, do what they like with them - &, they DO ...
.
Just my thoughts.

IF, none of the above is the case; THEN, the 'Mystery' deepens ...
