I cant' read last name of entry 311 Can I use a place marker like ??

    Hello James. When you use a place marker, or a wild card, you would use a ? for one letter you cannot read and an * (asterisk) if there are several letters you cannot read. So, I would use Bog* for entry 311 since it could be Bogen or Bogere or maybe Bogue. You can read more about this in the project instructions under the General Indexing Guidelines section and the topic is Unreadable Information.

    In this project, an entry is created for each unique name. On Entry 8, Colleen would have a separated record.

    @JamesLee761 When you go to the Q and A section for Indexing.. you will see on the right hand side the link to the Indexing chat for the group where your question needs to go. but for now, here is the group. you can do a right click on the link and open a new tab.
