With Ancestry you can import directly to Familysearch by clicking "import tree from FamilySearch"
When you tree is already there you can compare, Add others member of a family one by one.
Hoping that will help you.

Marcel Blais - You addressed only Ancestry. What about transferring family tree data from "Family Tree" to OTHER genealogy websites or programs? There is a big genealogy world out there!
Thank you for your time.

You can also import a tree into My Heritage from Family Tree. I'm not aware of any others besides Ancestry. You cannot export a GEDCOM from FamilySearch.
You can import a tree into several software program. I know that Roots Magic and Ancestral Quest can. Once you get it into a desktop program, you can then upload it into any genealogy website you want.

One other thought on this. For both the Ancestry and MyHeritage syncing with FamilySearch FamilyTree suggestions, you need a special church member only setup in your Ancestry or MyHeritage account. If you don't have a church membership ID, you cannot do either. And as Gordon pointed out, you cannot export GEDCOM files directly from FamilySearch FamilyTree.
In these cases, your only choice is to get a free copy of something like Ancestral Quest or RootsMagic and download all of the parts of the FamilySearch FamilyTree that you wish into your local PC/Mac database. From there you can export a custom GEDCOM.
However, in some cases, depending on the application that you use, you may be able to sync directly with the other database that you are targeting with no need of using a GEDCOM file.

The easiest and most general way to transfer data from family tree is to use one of the personal management programs that sync with Family Tree. Ancestral Quest, Roots Majic and Legacy are three that I am aware of that have this capability. I believe both Ancestral Quest and Roots Magic have free versions that will sync. You can move whatever portion of Family Tree you want to these programs and then created a GEDCOM file to import into many other web sites. This option is available to any user of Family Tree and is not dependent on have specific tools or accounts.
