How do I add a person that I see in a source but does not have a record in FamilySearch?

I'm looking at a marriage record for a deceased relative that gives the name of the bride's mother. There are no records in the tree for the mother. How do I add her to the tree?

The easiest way is to add her to the bride as the mother - groom to bride then mother to bride.

If there is no connection, and I'm not sure how that would be since this is the marriage record for your relative, at the top of the screen you will see Overview - Tree- Person - Recents - Find - Following - My Contributions Click on Recents. At the bottom is Add Unconnected Person.
