How does one add a nickname in Family Tree?

I see a data problem for a relative in which the nickname is in quotation marks. How do I fix this without losing the nickname?

You can add multiple versions of a person's name in Family Tree. Generally, our recommendation is that you enter the person's birth name or complete legal name in the Vitals section. Then add all of the variations in the Other Information field. When you add alternate names, the record is easier to find in Family Tree, since the system includes alternate names in the search.

Steps (website)

1. In the Family Tree on FamilySearch.org, display the person page you want to enhance.
2. If the Details section does not show, click Details.
3. On the Details view, if the Other Information box is closed, click the triangle next to the box's name.  
4. In the Other Information section, click Add Information.
5. Click Alternate name.
6. Click to select the type of alternate name and language.
7. Enter the name.
8. Enter a reason statement to explain how you know the information is correct.
9. Click Save.

Steps (mobile)

1. In the Family Tree mobile app, display the person page that you want to enhance.
2. If the Details section does not show, tap Details.
3. Scroll down to the Other Information section.
4. Tap the plus sign in a green circle.
5. Tap Alternate name.
6. Tap to select the language and type of alternate name.
7. Enter the name.
8. Tap Continue.
9. Enter a reason statement to explain how you know the information is correct.
10. Tap Save.

It could be place in the Other Information box, Add Information, then Add Alternate name
