I am wondering where you are looking for those military records? If you go to search, click on Wiki, and put in United States Military Records, all the wars and records are listed on the left side. The entire Wiki article is full of great information for finding information about our veterans. It is a good place to start.

The Korean, Vietnam War Records are evidently not online yet. I don't know if it is because it will take a huge amount of time to place them online or whether it is because of privacy issues that some folks would rather keep private. I think they (those in charge of releasing records) should at least release the Korean War Records. Military Records of course can be ordered from Military Personnel Centers, ie US Army Records from Missouri. However, one must know the person's exact name, dates of service, etc. It costs quite a bit of money and time to accomplish this and is inconvenient.
