There are some large groups of records that have data that's been indexed incorrectly or that have extra data in the record that wasn't indexed. Can we add an option to tag those batches for review?

They are slowly rolling out a way to edit indexed records but that takes time and programming and the pace will be slow.

As for your other point, indexing is suppose to make records searchable, it is not transcribing, trying to make all the data available. It is always best practice to look at the original image whenever possible as there will almost always be more information that can be learned from the original over the index.
