Jeff Wiseman said: As David pointed out, everyone has the ability to change any record in the one huge and shared FamilySearch FamilyTree. You can change it yourself, but if you have a copy of the Obituary, scan it and add it to your memories section where you can create a source from it and then attach that source to Evelyn's record.

Anyone can change anything in the shared tree but you need to provide evidence that the change you made was appropriate.

I attached various records to her in tree, her mother Bertina is in tree (died when Evelyn was 1 year old). I won't do too much more as she was with grandparents who were from Norway and I don't have experience with how those names work, and the head of household seems to have a step- relationship.

Dale Moe said: Thanks. I know she had a rough life as a child. However, her father married again, and she had several half-siblings, although many of them died young from Tuberculosis. One half-sibling was George Lonkey, who was very close to my father, Gayland, as they were only 10-12 years apart in age. George was a stage manager and carpenter for touring plays. Through him, i met many famous actors and actresses when their plays came to town, like Carol Channing, in Hello Dolly.
(I was about 16 at the time) George died in Sacramento, CA at about age 90 from a car accident, but as a child, he spent several years in an orphanage in Minneapolis. Many of his siblings are buried in St. Mary's cemetery, which is across the street from the orphanage,
