New (2020) merge process needs work, the old one worked better

K. Jones said: 2020 - The new merge process needs improvement. The first screen is redundant with the second and when you click on a source is does not display the details like it used to. Also the floating "Merge Completed - Undo" element causes problems, when it appears or disappears, it can close the popup that you are looking at. Also the text box for typing in the reason for the merge is very slow, the typing lags a couple seconds. I feel that the old version of merge was better.

    I don't think anyone will argue with you that the new system needs some serious work.

    When you post any issue(s), they need to be in their own thread. The one that I pointed to has several issues and they've been acknowledged.

    Because there are a lot of discussion threads surrounding the new format/process, and hopefully, they will all be resolved fairly quickly.
