Dave said: I am proabably one of many people who are contacting FamilySearch about the merging process we are now asked to use. For many of us, we just got use to and mastered the method that was there over the last serveral years. The person in our FamilySearch account was always on the left side, the person being deleted on the right (possible duplicate) "Information in this column will be deleted at the end of the merge." now we are going to have to switch each time we merge to remember which is the person we are to delete and one we are to keep-not everyone is gonig to check to see which is which. There seems to be extra steps involved in doing the merge, more time taken to do the merge and seems more complicated. Changes in FamliySearch should help the user (nore user friendly) and allow us to make choices which method of merging that is most benificial to us. THANK YOU!
