Where are you seeing this error?

If the error occurs on the FamilySearch Family Tree, you can correct it, as the tree is editable by anyone with a FamilySearch account. Please make sure you provide a source for every fact your enter.

If the error occurs in an index of a historical record, this cannot be changed at this time. Later this year it is planned to make corrections to indexes possible.

(One additional possibility, if it's in a FamilySearch index some can be changed on that page.) If you post the url or person's PID, someone mu offer some more help.
