Cousin David said: Same problem Sunday. Response from HQ was very kind and related completely to upgrade. However, I am sure that the FSFT usage is way up because of cancellation of LDS meetings.0

Here is a response, in a previous post, from an "Official 'FamilySearch' Representative", in relation to the (massive) ongoing problem/issue, that is being addressed ...

The banner stating that "Some features may be unavailable as we make improvements to the site..." has been removed. A second more descriptive banner that says "Historical Records Notice: Some images of U.S. Federal Census records are currently unavailable on FamilySearch.org. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working to restore access to these images as quickly as possible." is now shown on search results pages as well as historical record details pages. This second banner will persist until we have resolved the image access problems for the US Censuses. Hopefully that clears up any confusion the first banner may have caused.

Admitted that response was in relation to the "Banner"; but, the implication is that the response was in relation to the problem/issue with the Census' of the United States of America, that is being addressed, which may take some time.
'Oh'; and, 'Yes', as also already indicated by 'Cousin David', with the INCREASED use of the INTERNET all around the World (due to almost everyone being 'Quarantined'; or, in the least, self-quarantined), "FamilySearch" would be being 'hammered'; and, will, of course, as such, be 'slower' than normal - even, more so 'slower' than during the normal 'busy' time - only compounding the whole thing.
