Edward Mitchell said: I am a flight instructor for the Army and we teach people from some of the European countries. Some of my students have returned home, and through conversations They have become interested in family history. I could potentially be related to two of them. I am wondering if there is someway to activate the “relatives around me” type functionality but with a particular person who could be anywhere in the world? Maybe allowing an activation through a mutual code and then a 24 hr expiration so that different time zones would be able to access the information.

Amy Archibald said: This tool you are looking for already exists with the BYU Relative Finder. https://relativefinder.org/

You can either create a group and have these people join your group.

Or you can select the "Connect" tab and create a session. You and one other living person can then see all the ways you may be related. Once one person leaves the session, the connection is gone until you create another session.
