Show the menu choices on the front page without having to click first

Sorry, no one has responded to your post. Our engineers have read and have under consideration your suggestion. This is the same feature as the familysearch.org catalog search. I like this feature also and with the print larger and darker than the beta site. As you know this is a ongoing process and in the end is to be much better for searching than is presently available in familysearch.org. Please check back often and see the improvements.
