Also would like to Edit titles over the pictures in Memories. Some times the person that put it in made a mistake in spelling. I do not understand why we can't edit those. We can add people, change birth and death dates even detach a person. But we can't edit a title? Also like to delete duplicates pictures. Some times patrons have put the same picture 3 or 4 times in. Some of these are blurry and need removed.

I’m not fully behind that idea for several reasons, but would consider it if additional capabilities are introduced to the system.0 -
Cary Holmquist said: Although there are some advantages to making Memories open edit, as the original poster points out, my concern about doing that is the unfortunate opening it makes for “edit wars” to get going as different factions try to dominate a given Memories presentation. Although such things as spelling or typos or just plain insufficient information arise when someone titles a Memory, it is still possible to seek corrections through the Message feature, addressing the submitter, and also the comments at the bottom of the Memory pages—I have been notified by email from FamilySearch whenever someone responds with comments to Memories that I posted.
Even when some “edit wars” remain civil in their tone, the escalation of activity cannot be helpful for anyone observing on the sidelines, as it were, nor helpful to the good use of FamilySearch resources, which have to be taxed when changes go back and forth repeatedly. The present system for Memories limits that kind of activity away from the Memory presentation. At present, it keeps the attention on the Memory rather than confrontation about it, which at best can only be secondary. And, “edit wars” seldom remain civil and emotions get heated followed by heated language and “dirty tricks.”0 -

I wonder if that is possible?0
