I can set a dead person to living but another user cannot. Why?

(FamilySearch, in 2012, had put them as dead and she was trying to change to living in 2019). When I try to change to living, I can do it and get the message about "request to mark person as living" which is to be expected. But when she tries, the save button is grayed out. My question is, why am I able to change to living and not her? Could it have to do with the fact that she is not connected to anyone on her tree yet?

I was going to have her put them as living because then she could attach them to her tree (I already have them in my tree marked as living). Now she is going to create new living profiles for them and then connect to the dead people. I will mark the people as living and merge with my current living people.

There might be something that is associated with her account and hers. It shouldn’t make a difference, but there may be a problem associated with the accounts.

Another possibility could have to do with the device she is using vs the device you are using. If it is the same device, then that is a problem.

Hopefully someone from FamilySearch will look into this.

Paul said: Very strange. I have just tried this out on two "Test" individuals. For the "husband" I get the "Request to Mark Person as Living" box, as illustrated above. However, I had no problem in changing the detail for the "wife", from Deceased to Living.

Haven't given this too much thought but, on the face of it, I am performing (or trying to perform) exactly the same action, but with totally different outcomes.
