View My Relationship: Printing of the Diagram

robertkehrer said: On a Mac, simultaneously press Command-Option-4 and you will get a cross hairs on the screen. Select the region containing the chart and release the mouse. The region you selected will be placed in a new graphic file on your desktop and you can print or save it as you wish.

On Windows 10 I underatand you can press the Windows key and Print Screen key together to capture the whole screen or download any number of screen capture tools to select a region.

Using the print screen is a joke. You would have to use a telescope to read the fine print.

Relative finder does not have a big enough data base to find the relative I requested it too. I tried 3 id numbers to locate and it could not.

If you could make the screen so I could copy and paste that would help.

b. It would be helpful if the window the diagram is displayed in were expanded to full screen size, then more of the diagram would be visible without scrolling. Then you copy/paste more of the diagram.

c. I often send baptism/conf cards to my grand kids to do and I like to send them the little relationship diagram with the card. Helps the grand kids see the connection. Adds interest and talking points. Right now that is often too cumbersome to do with the screen capture/paste method.

Tom Huber said: If the feature is going to be provided for browser-based (that is, not app based) it could be a long way down the priority list. The entire site is being redesigned to take advantage of the latest technology. We are seeing some of this over on the beta site, which may result in a whole new "look and feel" to different parts of the site. We've already seen some of this in production, particularly with the landscape view of a person's pedigree chart.
