Tom Huber said: The memories that are displayed are those from others users that have been attached to your relatives.

You will have to open the memories gallery page to see what you have added.

Those added by others are not displayed on the gallery page.

Jeff Wiseman said: Tom, that is all true.

However, Karen's point is legitimate. FS's choice of what goes on that landing page seems to rarely be what the account holder wants. We've had issues where a person has lost a loved one and someone else posts a picture to to site which then gets shoved into the face of the person who just lost them every time they log in to FS.

Although some of this has been improved a bit, that landing page still seems to be all about marketing and campaigns.

Tom Huber said: So very true, Jeff. For years, I have asked that we be able to collapse the images that appear. About a year or so ago, FamilySearch finally set up loading those images in the background, so that we could quickly go where we wanted to go.

I really wish FamilySearch would make the landing/home page more cognizant of what we, the users, want to see, and less about what the PR department wants to put in our faces.
