    Jordi Kloosterboer said: Spelling wasn't really a thing until recently so I don't know how the system would figure that out due to different sources spelling the name a different way. The other ideas you have are already there. For date and place names, it gives an error if no standardized place or date has been connected to whatever you put down. I don't know what you mean for 'miscategorization of data.' There are also other research suggestions FamilySearch gives you.

    You can fix data errors on Family Tree profiles yourself, you know. It's an open-edit shared tree.
