How can I be receiving messages dated nearly 2 months from today? Also, How can I tell if a message

Clue. The date of the message in my messages file shows it as 9 July 2020.

Also,

Is that message in the messages pull down from JeffLuke to me, or from me to JeffLuke? There is no way to discern this without opening the message.

    The format is as Heidi reported. dd Mmm, or dd Mmm yyyy. The year is not present for the current year (2020).
