FamilySearch, I have to manually edit the search on ancestry to include Family Trees. I am wondering if this is a decision from FamilySearch to not include ancestry Family Trees in the initial search; a decision from Ancestry to not allow searches from FamilySearch to include those Family Trees (without editing the search) or a glitch. When I search from Ancestry's home page (not using Family Search as my jump off place) Family Trees are included in the search.

Keep in mind that search sources is looking at historical records that Ancestry can access or has in their collection.

The trees are not part of the historical collections.

When signed in to Ancestry, you can limit the search parameters to collections and/or trees.

Ancestry, from within a tree, has two searches. One is limited to the hints that would appear while the other is the entire collection. Ancestry operates a bit differently than FamilySearch in this regard.
