Beta (Test) Environment.

Comment.

Top Line(s) Menu (January 2020, appearance).

Utilistaion of Space.

And, "Links", both, Missing and Added.

Just some thoughts ...

I like the fact that you have COMBINED the Thee (x3) Top Line Menus into one line, a much better utilisation of space

I really DO NOT care much for the "Icons" for the "Links" of, 'Help'; 'Message'; or, 'User' - in fact, I suggest that they are totally UNNECESSARY; and, without them, would save valuable 'real-estate'.

I am very DISAPPOINTED that the "Link" for "Volunteer" has been "Removed".

And, I suggest that that "Link" for "Activities" DOES NOT need to be 'on par' with that of 'FamilySearch'; 'Tree'; 'Search'; 'Memories'; 'Indexing'; and, 'Temple' - possibly in the 'Middle; (on its 'Pat Malone'; but, certainly not with the others). Many User/Patrons are more interested with working, rather than playing. The promotion of PARTICIPATION, at the expense of QUALITY (ie. QUANTITY over QUALITY), is very disappointing.

As an aside, reducing the "Size" of the "Portrait" would go a long way in reducing the "Size" of the "Person" Menu.

Just my thoughts.

Submitted for your information, consideration; and, attention.

It looks like, the Top Line(s) Menu (January 2020, appearance), as per the "Beta" ("Test") "Environment", with what I consider, are the totally unnecessary "Icons" included with the "Links" for, at least, 'Help'; and, 'Message', are a 'fait accompli'.

I was just taking a quick look in the "FamilySearch" 'Wiki' at something ...
    [ie. in "Production" ("Live") Environment]

The NEW 'Top' Line Menu in the "Production" ("Live") Environment is very "Disappointing".

This is not the way the 'Top' Line Menu, looked; or, operated, in the in the "Beta" ("Test") Environment just a few weeks ago.

The 'Web" version of "FamilySearch" is NOT like the "Mobile" Application of "FamilySearch'; and, should not need to appear so or operate like.

Please reconsider the appearance of the 'Top' Line Menu in the "Web" version of "FamilySearch".

    'Thank You' in advance.
