Tom Huber said: Welcome to the community support forum for FamilySearch. FamilySearch personnel read every discussion thread and may or may not respond as their time permits. We all share an active interest in using the resources of this site and as users, we have various levels of knowledge and experience and do our best to help each other with concerns, issues, and/or questions.
This gets requested on a regular basis.
It is coming.
A couple of months or so ago, in a similar request, we were told that the means to show the text relationship is under development, but that not all languages support certain relationships, so the text will be English only.
We have not been given any release date, which is normal, other than the feature is coming.0 -

You are not alone ...
Of course, what you request is already in the "Mobile" Application version (for Smart Phones, etc) of "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch", just not the "Web" version - YET.
As 'Tom' has already indicated, this is a regularly requested/suggested enhancement; and, also, as we have been informed by "FamilySearch", currently being developed (and, hopefully, implemented, sooner, rather than later),
Here is just a few previous posts (just a selection) in this Forum alone, for some 'light' reading:
"View My Relationship" on website - please add words like the app .. [ Over 2 Years ago ]

View My Relationship .. [ 8 Months ago ]

View my Relationship (add relationship titles) .. [ 4 Months ago ]

They tell us that "... patience is a virtue ..."
Unfortunately, many of us have run very low on patience ...
As an interim measure, If need be, as I have access to the "Mobile" Application version (for Smart Phones, etc) of "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch", I just use that to confirm the "Title" of a Relationship.

And, as an aside ...
There is a also a free programme that was developed and is maintained by/through the "Family History Technology Lab" of "Brigham Young University" ( BYU ) that is, Partnered with; and, "Certified" by, "FamilySearch", called, just that, "Relative Finder" ( https://www.relativefinder.org/ ).
https://www.relativefinder.org/#/main
( BYU ) "RelativeFinder.org" is a GREAT supplemental Tool to use in conjunction with "Family Tree" of :FamilySearch" and has many 'bells and whistles', if you have not, try it out, you will be surprised and amazed.
I would be surprised if you did not find an "Option" or two to your liking in ( BYU ) "RelativeFinder.org".
And, ( BYU ) "RelativeFinder.org" digs a lot more comprehensively than "FamilySearch" does.
Enjoy.
I hope this helps.
