Donald Allen Soper said: When I am in ‘the persons detail page’ the only place that I see that shows a ‘place’ is a marriage place. There is not a ‘birthplace’ to be shown. If you are looking at a screen that shows a man and his wife with all their children and also shows the father and mother and all their children knowing the birthplace of all of them is very valuable. Should I list all the reasons why it would be valuable?

Gordon Collett said: Since the person whose detail page you are on has that the person's birth place clearly shown under his or her Vitals section. I assume you are talking about the Family Members section.

The birth place of everyone can be seen, one at a time, by clicking on the person's name and viewing the summary card:

I would suspect that the programmers did not elect to include the birth and death places in Family Members section, even though it would be handy to see all of it at the same time because this would lengthen the section significantly and require more scrolling, would add a lot of clutter to the page, and significantly increase the server requirements for loading the page. They may have thought, also, that people would want to see al the information on the Summary Card for each person and so would be clicking on everyone's name anyway.
