IDEA - After searching in FamilySearch for a person, having a ONE BUTTON search of Records

You've done a search in FamilySearch for that person you just KNOW is in there...
... but alas they're not.
So you want to search in Records for them... ugh... you've got to type ALL those search criteria again!
There MUST be a better way!!!
Why, that sounds like a GREAT feature to add - a one button push to search records with the same search criteria!
(wild applause erupts... and I'm motioning in a "push-down" movement of my hands to quiet the crowds)
You see FS developers? Over 110% of the virtual "users" of the software agree!
So, waddya say?

Unfortunately, I have to say - what are you talking about? I'll concede it's probably me being a bit thick, but I haven't a clue what problem you are having and the nature of your suggested solution.0 -

There are a couple of different searches. One that searches the FamilySearch Family Tree, and one that searches Records.
The search criteria is mostly the same (name, birth place and years, residence and years, spouse name, marriage place and date, parents, etc).
What my idea is about is not having to duplicate the entry of all those search criteria when moving between each of those screens. It would be REALLY handy on mobile platforms where data entry is a bit slower and cumbersome
My description above was only 1-way (from the Family Tree search to the Records search). And while it would be nice to go the other way, one can somewhat do that by looking at the attached source links, but there are times something looks tantalizing in Records (not attached) and I want to see what's in Family Tree.
Hopefully that clarifies what I was suggesting for an improvement.0 -

Tom Huber said: For a person's page, you can use the search for the different databases: Find searches the tree; the FamiySearch icon searches the historical records.
However, if you don't know the person, then yes, you do have a concern as the search historical records and find a person (in the tree) each have their own criteria.
I agree that it would be nice to have a single form with the option of either search for the person in the tree or searching for the person in the historical records, and have the results leave the form alone so that it can be used for the "other" search.
Hopefully, this is something that FamilySearch will consider and implement.0
