An example is showing me a tombstone of my aunt but not providing a way to easily confirm the tombstone is correct or in how to attach the data. Why not place an "accept" button on the page?

Great suggestion. The discoveries are, at best, "campaigns' used in an attempt to engage more people in working with the FamilySearch site. They do not always work well.

Generally speaking, the discovery should contain a link to the person's page in the massive tree. In many instances, the record (in the sources tab) already exists, but otherwise, will be found on the details page as a Research Help in the upper left portion at the same level as the Vitals section.

Thank you for your reply. I can see where the data suggested or inferred can be added as a source in a conventional sense. Several steps are involved in such a process. It would make this task easier and greatly more efficient if an icon could be added to the initial announcement thus allowing the data to be automatically moved to the source area for the individual.
In the specific case I am addressing, FamilySearch announced they had found the tombstone of my aunt whom I knew personally. In looking at the announcement, I could tell of its accuracy without going to Findagrave to see what data they have for her. I found no way either on FamilySearch or at Findagrave to automatically accept the data as a new source. Instead, I would have to go to her profile page and enter the data manually for it to be shown as a source.
