Allow tagging specific locations in a pdf file the same way we do jpg files

    Tom Huber said: PDF files are not image files. For this (tagging) to be possible, the programmers would need to do some serious work with aligning the presentation of the PDF data and the tag interface.

    I'm not sure it can even be done, but we will have to hear from a FS person to know whether or not this is possible.

I hope the developers will be able to do that until then, I continue to add .jpgs of each page of a document so that I can add the tagging/faceplates. I understand that FS is working on ways to "group" these documents so maybe that will suffice.

It is possible to mark say names or specific parts of a PDF file with a hightlight and then refer to the highlight in comments for example. As Tom stated above drawing a tag on an existing PDF file is probably out of the question to expect. The programming effort is not worth the benefit gained.
