If I click on temple and then make sure I am on the my reservation page. I can right click on the page and select print from the small pop-up menu. If I choose that a complete list of my temple reservations is printed. If you have a large list it will take many pages to print the list. It appears to me that about 200 reservations will take 6 pages to print.
The above instructions are using google as a browser and a windows 10 machine. Other operating systems or browsers may yield different results.0 -
Gordon Collett said: I think it is more likely that she wants to print out the actual temple list in a good format to be able to keep track of some things on paper.
You can do this using the print command for your browser, and it prints out just like the screen. That was a nice surprise and a job well done by the programmers. Often, web pages print out with all sorts of strange formatting problems.
The only trouble is that just one screen full of names takes seven page of paper. Here is the first of those seven pages which I printed from my browser into a PDF file.0 -
gasmodels said: in Windows when the print screen comes up you can scale so that the names are not truncated. It makes the print smaller but you can see everything.0

JimGreene said: I have passed this along, but please be aware that when we build a solution, in this case a print layout format, it needs to work in multiple languages, many of which have significant word size gain, especially with names. Much of the white space you see in English does not exist in German, for example. Just FYI.0

JimGreene said: If I understand your request you are wanting to print a list of names to print their cards. The way to do this now is to go the Temple tab at the top and select My Reservations, then once you are in your reservation list click on the Filter Button then the Not Printed filter. A list of all names that are reserved and not printed will show up, you can print all or select the ones you want. Did that answer your concern?0

Amy Archibald said: I think the request is to be able to print a list of all the names on the reservation list. Before the new update you could do this really easy by using the browser's print function and you'd get a nicely formatted list of everyone on the temple reservation list with name, PID, ordinances needed, names of parents (if available), name of spouse for SS, and reservation and expiration dates.
Now, you can't print this list anymore.
We need to have the ability to print out a list of everyone in reservations or shared.0 -
Amy Archibald said: Not just the amount of paper .... the names are all truncated. If the name could show up fully, this print method would work.0

I have been trying to get that to work and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to scale it correctly to print. I just tried your suggestion and that works for my purposes. THANK YOU!0 -
Tom Huber said: Gordon's solution is a workaround at best, in my opinion. I would like to be able to print out a list of the names in the temple page of my account.
The list would be in the form of:
Name.........Spouse/Parents..........B C I E SP or SS.........Date shared (for the Shared List) or expiring for My Reservations.
Each name would be on a single line, so a page could hold about 60 names. The B C I E SP / SS would be color coded or if not needed an underline would appear in the B C I E positions.
It would be ideal to print both lists at the same time (with one command) and use the filters currently offered including the order.0 -
Tom Huber said: Thanks. I do understand that it will take time to build such a feature.
I suggested using the letters for B C I E SP and SS because they should be the same or close to the same in other languages. I do not know if the other languages use different combinations, but ti seems to me that the name would be the same length (or close) in other languages (Cyrillic, Japanese, etc.) Some languages the use letter combinations to express a sound could be a problem, such as Gaelic.
I can understand that headings might be a problem, but if the printed version replicates (except for notes) the order on the temple page, I think most people will be happy with that.0
