Jordi Kloosterboer said: If an ordinance is waiting (because other ordinances need to be done first). It has no expiration date (at least that I can see). I would assume that they would be shown last if you sort your ordinances in ascending order. However, they are shown first. I think it would be better if they are shown last since I order them in ascending order so I can do the top ordinances first and I cannot do ordinances that are waiting for other ordinances to be done.

Gordon Collett said: Good point. Looks like a slight coding oversight. No expiration date must have a date of 0 which, of course, would come first in a strict numerically ascending sort. It would be nice if they could put in an exception to shift those down to the end of the list.

Tom Huber said: The sort order has always been impacted by the way the ordinance list is ordered. It doesn't matter if I was looking for a specific ordinance or not, the status of the individual ordinance is what set the order within the ordinance list.

It appears this has not been addressed and now that the same color is used for either the "My Reservations" list or the "Shared" list on your temple page, it is even more confusing.

Tom Huber said: Without looking at the same record, I think but do not know that the prerequisite ordinances are not done and are reserved by another user. In those situations, there isn't much that can be done.

If the prerequisite ordinances are being held by another user, then there isn't much that can be done, other than contacting that user (you'll get the name on the deceased person's ordinance page) and ask them to transfer the ordinances to you.

Of course right now, with the temples closed to vicarious ordinances, not much can be done and the expiration dates are being extended accordingly.

That does not remove the fact that it would be far better to display the "waiting" ordinances at the end of the list, rather than the top, especially when all ordinances are selected to be shown.

Tom Huber said: I am going to take this one step further. What we need is a way to filter out the "Waiting" entries on our temple page. If the filter is not set to remove those Waiting, it will show them.

This does not replace the need to put those waiting at the bottom of the list, not at the top or mixed in with the others.

Tom Huber said: Taking this further, if any prerequisite ordinances need to be done first, they should also be at the bottom of the list, not at the top -- or at least give us the ability to sort the list so the Waiting and Prerequisite ordinances are at the bottom of the list.

The prerequisite at the top is left over from the previous system. With the new system, we need this ability to see what we have requested without having to go through a bunch of "Waiting" and Prerequisite ordinances to gather the sealings together for sealing session(s).

See below from my Temple Page. Note the Prerequisite ordinances are listed first, followed by the Waiting and only then do I see those that I requested via the filter.
