New Feature to reserve ordinance shared with temple causes problems

HOWEVER, it causes a lot of problems. On the family tree, the icon shows green but it pulls up ordinances not done INCLUDING those already shared with the temple. It is taking me a lot of time now to determine which ordinances still need to be shared with the temple versus and which already have been shared.

I have almost 8000 names shared with the temple and these last couple of days, it is taking me a lot longer to find new names as I have to make sure I am not reserving something someone else has already shared with the temple.

Can this feature be changed to be used only from the person ordinance screen and not the family tree screen? Green icon should mean no one has reserved the work or shared with the temple.

After I share new names with the temple, I have to go through the list (which might be 100's for that day) to determine which are new sharing with the temple and which the system thinks I am trying to reserve but that have previously been shared with the temple. I try to uncheck the names that have previously been shared with the temple so I don't re-reserve them but I always miss a few.

D. Llewelyn said: Agreed. The old color coding system was simple and clear. I'm hoping they'll revert back to that, but let people reserve any temple work that someone else has shared. It shouldn't be that difficult. I also liked being able to see a quick overview of the ordinances I reserved for my immediate family vs ones shared with the temple. Now I have to click on each person to figure that out, which is very time consuming. New user interface is anything but user friendly now.
