However, I have no idea where you are looking, or what draft records you are looking at. I just checked and Maine is certainly part of the WW1 draft registration card collection.0 -

This is from Ancestry "This database contains images and indexes for registration cards filled out by men born between the years of 1898 and 1929 from for all states with the exception of Maine. The draft cards from the state of Maine were destroyed before they could be digitized."
