Many users don't opt to uncheck the box, resulting in an accumulation of tagged sources, many of which aren't really appropriate for tagging. I would like to suggest that the default be an unchecked box. It would save me a lot of time and effort in untagging multitiudes of sources!

Can you provide an example of a tagged source that is not really appropriate for tagging. Please include the ID of the person to which that source is attached.
Note that every source that is properly attached to a person will have the person's name, which should be checked when the source is attached to that person. It may include sex, birth, death, burial, etc., as well. Generally speaking, I don't know of any instances where the default has inappropriate tags for the source.0
