Tammy Dorli Hardy said: I would like to be able to select which ordinances I reserve. I only want to reserve individual ordinances and don't want to reserve sealing to parent but am not able to do this. The parents information is their name only so it doesn't make sense to reserve that ordinance.

Thank you

I agree! I frequently reserve individual ordinances for the spouse of a cousin, but do not want to complete their sealing to parent since their parents are not my family (and frequently the information is incomplete). I have to keep track of which people are in this category and then go back and unreserve their sealing to parent once I have completed the endowment.

I would also like to be able to reserve only particular ordinances such as baptism and confirmation. I have children that can perform these ordinances, but I cannot complete the male initiatories or endowments. I can complete the sealing to parents once the initiatory and endowment are complete, but I can't reserve this separately.

I have this same issue and it is rather cumbersome to reserve all ordinances except sealing to spouse, which you can deselect, and then have to go back and unreserve them after whatever ordinance you want to do is done. It is both a matter of not wanting to do work for non-blood relatives, and/or just not wanting to reserve more ordinances than I can do in a reasonable amount of time.

Another glitch, I think, with reserving ordinances is if a person's (say, Brother Brown's) spouse is born within 110, to do the work for Brother Brown it tells me I need permission. That makes perfect sense for the couple's sealing, but not if I want to do all other ordinances for Brother Brown other than the sealing.

Two other things, both involving Temple Ready. As I understand it, we are supposed to perform the ordinances in the correct order (maybe not a hard and fast rule, but preferred). However, when using Temple Ready to select ordinances that are available to be done, it will suggest someone for an endowment, for instance, if that is what I selected, but when I look, at times, the baptism, confirmation and initiatory hasn't yet been done for that person. That individual should never be suggested by the system.

And finally, I often attend baptisms for the dead sessions with our YSA ward. I will print out 20 cards from my relatives for them to do when they are there. But with Temple Ready, you can only print out four at a time. First of all, why four and not five, which at least in our temple is the common number they allow people to do. Secondly, why not allow me to print out the four, and then when I go back wanting more, it could give me four new people. It just gives me the same people, even if I have already reserved them and printed them out.

I have the same problem. I have a number of reservations which include sealing to parents. I am not related to the parents and my understanding is that I should not do ordinances for those I am not related to.

I cannot unreserve only the sealing to parents. This increases the number of ordinances I have in my reservation list and limits the number of ordinances to be reserved. It also prevents someone who is related to the parents from reserving the sealing of the child to these parents.
