How to find wedding certificate?
I need only one more document to be able to join DAR. It is my in-laws’ wedding certificate. Two problems:
I don’t know what state they were married in.
My mother-in-law was recently divorced. I don’t know if she used Murphey (divorced name) or her maiden name (Kelder).
I looked on Archives.com. Nothing. They didn’t even have my wedding certificate so it is useless.

This from the Pike County Dispatch (Milford, Pennsylvania) 10 April 1947. Marriage license issued. It does not appear the Pike County marriage records are online. You will have to contact the courthouse. The county seat is Milford.0

I know these are your relatives, but I would personally feel uncomfortable about publishing full date of birth detail on what I assume to be a living person. Also, are you sure your mother in law would be happy with her name / personal details being publicised for such purposes?

Both my in-laws have been deceased for over 20 years.
When I wrote recently divorced, I meant she was divorced in 1946 in Florida, and then she married my father-in-law right afterwards (1946 or 1947). The problem is I don’t know in what state they married .

Thank you so much! My sister-in-law thought they were married in Pennsylvania so now this helps me know where to request the certificate. How can I see the newspaper article?
