How do I delete the wrong person?

I’m so frustrated and trying to use this site I put in my granddad my mom’s dad. And I was searching for his mom and it popped up the wrong person and now I can’t delete her or her husband…

in Familyearch you need to change your mindset - for the most it is very rare you actually delete a person - rather you simply CORRECT an incorrect relatonship - without deleting the person.

I have put an incorrect name in as a Grandfather on my family Tree. It has then added a wife and her family history. I have corrected the Grandmothers details, but can't delete the Christening details, which relate to the wrong person. Most frustrating, as it won't let me delete all these people who are nothing to do with my family. Any suggestions.

    Hello MARGARETBARRETT33

To remove people from your tree that do not belong there you will need to remove them from the parent-child relationship that now exists. The article pertaining to editing that type of relationship has been posted above. To the right of the child as found in the relationship with his parents there is a pencil icon. Click on the pencil. A second window pops up in the second screenshot you will notice that there are two options in which to make that correction.

To edit the christening date you need to click on the little blue edit button next to the christening information as in the picture below. You should then be able to edit the existing information.
