I am taking a 'leap' here; and, believe that you are referring to a "Film Printer" at a "Family History Centre" of the Church ...

    .

    As such ...

    .

I am "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours, to the 'Group' being "Family History Center Consultants", in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; so that, the members of that group can answer/assist you.

    .

    And ...

    .

As, am I not aware of where your "Family History Centre" is located ...

    .

I am ALSO "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours, to the 'Group' being "FHC Technical Support (North America)", in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; so that, the members of that group can answer/assist you.

    .

Both those 'Groups' are "Private" 'Groups'; but, if you have responsibility for a "Family History Centre"; then, you can request to "Join" one or both of those 'Groups'.

Our mf reader printer is by far the best reader in the center from which to take a photo of a record with my phone. Not all records are online; i am so glad I ordered the microfilm years ago and that it is still in the FHC here. It is almost impossible to get a decent photo from the big mf readers because of the angle of the reading surface. The shadow of the phone is very annoying. With the Canon reader printer I can get quite useable shots and then clean them up in Photos on my computer. I hope our reader printer is not discarded.
