What do I do to correct false information on Family Search?

Many years ago my Parents and Grandparents hired Brian Lacey to do some research on their Italian ancestors. Over a period of time he sent them a lot of information which they added to their geneology. Temple work was also done on this information. Years later it was discovered that Brian Lacey was doing fraudulent work. Now I am trying to see if these are even real people or if they are totally made up. What do I do now? Thanks

in every person record profile in FamilySearch - there are edit buttons where you can edit the information.

BUT I would be careful in approaching this project too quickly

rather - first take a look at the family tree as it is now - without being in a hurry to correct it - and first - review each person and see what sources are listed for each person

focus on gathering resources, sources, etc. and then see what facts are truely supported by sources and which are not.

also try to work with others on the samew tree - and work collaboratively and approach questions and apparent errors as a group - so that as a group you can come (or at least try to come) to a common decision and do so with tiem and research and patience.
