As far as I am aware, 'FamilySearch' has NOT "Sold" the "1881, Census of England and Wales" to "www.FindMyPast.co.uk" [ www.FindMyPast.com ].
.
And, 'Yes', the other 'On-Line' Commercial PAID (ie. "Subscription") Websites DO have the Census of not only England and Wales; but, of many other Countries as well.
.
Please explain why you think 'FamilySearch' has NOT "Sold" the "1881, Census of England and Wales" to "www.FindMyPast.co.uk" [ www.FindMyPast.com ].
.
Here is an "Article" in the 'FamilySearch' "Wiki":
.
.
There were a number of DIFFERENT "Indexings" of that Census; and, some of those "Indexings" have been "Retired" from 'FamilySearch'; despite, the fact that, in many cases, they are ALREADY "Attached" to individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
Are the "Retired" Records (ie. "Sources") to which you are referring?
.
IF, so; THEN, here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
.
What is a retired record?
https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/what-is-a-retired-record
.
Otherwise, here is another "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
.
Why did some historical records disappear from FamilySearch?
.
Let us know the situation.
