Family search used to have a free 1881 England censu but know you have sold it to Find my Past and everybody has it or is supposed to have it but you have to pay to use their online web. I am disgusted!

I WANT THE 1881 CENSUS!!!

As far as I am aware, 'FamilySearch' has NOT "Sold" the "1881, Census of England and Wales" to "www.FindMyPast.co.uk" [ www.FindMyPast.com ].

And, 'Yes', the other 'On-Line' Commercial PAID (ie. "Subscription") Websites DO have the Census of not only England and Wales; but, of many other Countries as well.

Please explain why you think 'FamilySearch' has NOT "Sold" the "1881, Census of England and Wales" to "www.FindMyPast.co.uk" [ www.FindMyPast.com ].

There were a number of DIFFERENT "Indexings" of that Census; and, some of those "Indexings" have been "Retired" from 'FamilySearch'; despite, the fact that, in many cases, they are ALREADY "Attached" to individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

Are the "Retired" Records (ie. "Sources") to which you are referring?

I was able to find a search within England and Wales, Census 1881
