Connecticut death certificates?

Hello -- please let me know if there's an specific group it would be better to ask this in.

Does anyone know if older Connecticut death certificates are accessible online? I have sometimes found scanned/microfilm death certificates for other states, but can't find any for Connecticut.

I have been able to locate the specific death referenced in the Connecticut Death Index, but this contains only name, city, and dates, with no accompanying document.

My grandmother died in 1959 and we know very little about the specific circumstances of her death. A document that could tell us even where she was when she died, who reported her death, or how it happened would be meaningful.

I would prefer not to include her name unless necessary; I'm just hoping someone might have a lead on where to access documents.

Thanks! I'll look there. (Edit -- I had no idea the wiki had such detailed information. I'd only scratched the surface!)
